While Zambian opposition leader Hakainde Hichilema was transfered to a high level security prison outside the capital Lusaka, the firebrand politician will according to a magistrates court face trial on treason charges. His lawyers earlier pleaded with the courts to drop the charges against the politician. Hichilema allegedly interrupted the president’s motorcade months ago that led to his arrest.
